SINUMERIK ONE — the successor
The SINUMERIK 840D sl has been spare-parts-only since October 2024, with Siemens support expected to continue for roughly the next eight to ten years; all new CNC innovation now happens on SINUMERIK ONE. We upgrade 840D and Powerline machines to SINUMERIK ONE with full compatibility for your operators: programming and operation carry over, SINAMICS drives and SIMOTICS motors are connection-compatible, and Siemens’ published figures show up to 30% faster 5-axis finishing compared with the 840D sl.
With the integrated SIMATIC S7-1500F PLC and TIA Portal, engineering and maintenance are standardised across your fleet — and the digital twin (Create MyVirtual Machine) lets commissioning work start before the hardware does.
